First post from the new iPad....yeeep, caved and bought one. Everyone has been saying to hold off and wait til the end of march to get one...nooooot. Never have I ever been one to be patient.

Flight is way to soon. Havnt packed, gotten my luggage, booked accommodation, etc etc etc. At least I have a flight...

Freedom is near..

Well that was hard..not. 
well well....I should've sent my 2 weeks in a long time ago. Not only was that painless, but I also got to go home after I worked the phones. 45 covers doesn't require my presence apparently. Life goes on. Resting up tonight for 2 more full weeks at Blue Hill and then taking a few days off and doing nothing (except hopefully seeing everyone I love) before I leave.

2 weeks notice

I've been saying that I would email my boss with my departure date for about a month now...I've yet to do so and now 2 hostesses have quit, leaving me as their alternate. Sweeeet.

O well. Emailing him/them tonight. Cannot waaaaiiit for the meeting/faces/attitudes/disappointment that awaits come Wednesday.  Can't be worse than the floods and cyclones attacking Oz these days.

So. 
I JUST BOUGHT MY TICKET. I can't really find the words to express the emotions pumping through my entire body right now....
Hell yea I'm excited, but shit scared. What am I doing? Pretty amped up on caffeine at the moment, so maybe I'll blame the rapid heart beat on Starbucks and all the emo high school kids that weirded me out and therefore led me to get that triple espresso latte. Wait. Off topic.

I leave from LAX on March 3rd at 940pm and arrive in Melbourne March 5th at 825am. 
Now to decide when I want to fly into L.A. 

Time to leave the library and relax my shoulders, which have been attached to my ears for the past hour. Next thing to attack: WWOOF hosts...5km from the beach ooorrr on the beach?? Orrr yoga offered in the mornings orr meditation circles at night? Decisions, decisions.

Time to start planning....

It may seem like I have a plan, but the reality of the situation is that I am going at this completely blind. But hey, when have I ever been one to plan ahead? or be on time for anything at all? I change my mind almost every day...should I buy a round trip ticket? A multi destination ticket? Should I be going at all? I wish I had all the answers, but I just don't.

Time will tell.

Hopeful destination: San Diego week long layover and then down to Melbourne.
